Dr. Lal is Senior Advisor for Global Health and Innovation, Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries Limited, India. He serves on the board of the Roll Back Malaria Partnership Board (RBM), Asia Pacific Leader’s Malaria Alliance (APLMA), and Foundation for Disease Elimination and Control of India (FDEC-India). He also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Sun Pharma Healthcare Society. He is also the Acting Director of the Malaria Elimination Demonstration Project. He has served as the Director of US FDA India Office; Technical Director, Decade of Vaccines Collaboration; and Chief Executive Officer, Hilleman Laboratories; U.S. Health Attaché and Regional Representative for South Asia at the U.S. Embassy in India, and Chief Malaria Vaccine Section at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Atlanta, GA. He has over three decades of experience in infectious disease research, vaccines and immunization, biotechnology, global health, product safety, and policy matters. He is recipient of the Life Time Achievement award and Gugnani Oration Medal from the Indian Society of Malaria and other Communicable Diseases and India Association of Epidemiologists, Public Health Ambassador Award from the National Centers for Disease Control, the FDA Commissioner’s Special Citation Award, NICD, CDC & Outstanding Scientific Contribution to Public Health Award. In his illustrious career, Dr. Lal has published over 220 papers.
Dr.Sushanta K Ghosh
Former Scientist G and Head at ICMR - National Institute of Malaria Research
Dr. Susanta Kumar Ghosh is a retired Scientist G (Director Level) and former Head of the ICMR-National Institute of Malaria Research, Bangalore Field Unit. With expertise in Malaria Elimination, Medical Entomology, Vector control, Basic and Molecular Parasitology, public health, and environmental health. Dr. Ghosh currently serves as Adjunct Faculty at Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Karnataka. He has an extensive publication record of 140 publications in renowned National and International Journals & a member of prestigious scientific bodies such as the Indian Society for Malaria & Other Communicable Diseases and the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. He has actively participated in conferences, presented papers, chaired sessions, and organized workshops. Throughout his career, Dr. Ghosh has handled approximately 50 National and International projects, collaborating with esteemed organizations including WHO and Medicines for Malaria Venture.

With 29 years of distinguished service as a Senior Public Health Official in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, Dr. Neeraj is a seasoned leader in public health. His expertise spans a wide spectrum of communicable diseases, including HIV, TB, Hepatitis, Malaria, and various Vector-Borne Diseases, impacting a population of around 1 billion people. Notably, Dr. Dhingra has led the National Dengue Control Programme, developing strategies, coordinating with partners like WHO, and advancing research on Dengue management. His rich experience extends to the National AIDS Control Organization, where he contributed significantly to reducing HIV prevalence in high-risk populations. He actively participates in Technical Committees at the National and International levels, representing India in various global health forums.
Dr. Subhash Salunkhe

An Industry veteran with 30 years’ experience in the Public Health Department spans from the Position of Deputy Director to Director General in the Health Services of Maharashtra State. His stint with the WHO SEARO spanned from being Regional Advisor in 2005 to Assistant Regional Director in 2009, including three years as WHO Representative to Indonesia. He has been regularly contributing to the development of Public Health in the country as a member of various committees of the States and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. Of India, including the recent announcement by the Hon Chief Min of Maharashtra for him to spearhead the Task Force on Covid 19.

Dr. Mrigendra Pal Singh is an eminent biostatistician and former scientist at ICMR's NIRTH, boasting over 35 years of invaluable experience in the realm of public health research in the Indian Council of Medical Research. He excels in both quantitative and qualitative research, epidemiological and entomological studies, and data analysis & Dr. Singh's work has often taken him to challenging tribal-dominated areas in central India, Assam, and Meghalaya, where he explores various health factors. His international collaborations include renowned institutions like the CDC in Atlanta, Boston School of Public Health, and the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. Dr. Singh has published 50+ research papers and provides guidance in data analysis to research scholars and medical graduates. He earned international recognition as the "Database Manager for the Year 2006" from the Malaria Foundation International. Dr. Singh also served as a master trainer, enhancing the skills of medical officers, community health workers, and lab technicians in malaria and vector-borne disease control. In 2005, he independently established an HDSS site in Jabalpur, central India, dedicated to community-based malaria studies with a population exceeding 100,000, meticulously tracking demographic events. Dr. Mrigendra Pal Singh's profound contributions make him a prominent figure in the field of public health research.
